How easy is this! I think the pictures tell a lot of the story here.
This is Ava's new Hemnes bookshelf from Ikea and I thought I'd give it a bit of a facelift. So effective and SO easy!
Wallpaper/scrapbook paper/wrapping paper
Masking tape
Cardboard (the bookshelf packaging came in handy!!)
Measuring tape
Bookshelf
I firstly measured the spaces at the back of the bookshelf, then cut out my cardboard in the correct dimensions.
I then cut out my wallpaper allowing about an inch around the rim
Lay your cardboard over the back of your wallpaper then tape it down.
Pop it into your shelves and....you're done!
A pretty handy nap time project!!!
This is adorable!! And great idea!! Please come share this on DIY Sunday Showcase, a party I cohost! It's open now!!!

ReplyDeleteThis is awesome and so pretty! I love that it's removable too. I've seen tutorials where you modge podge the paper in, but then you are stuck with a mess if you ever want to remove it.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the colors. I also love how it's removable. I'm featuring this at Terrific Tuesdays.
